It focuses on tourist marked routes and trails in general, their marking, mapping and also it focuses on literature concerning these questions, so it presents a comprehensive summary of the historical development of this sphere. Also it tries to find out connections of current tourist routes and trails with the ancient ones. The practical part apply the previous findings to the particular trail - the oldest extant marked trail in the Czech republic, the Trail of Vojta Náprstek situated southwest of Prague.
